Blood Sugar, Module 2
Workshop Resources
Here you will find everything you need to complete your homework. **THERE IS NOT A HOMEWORK WORKSHEET FOR THIS MODULE. PLEASE USE THE FOOD JOURNAL FOR TRACKING.**
Food Journal Template
Use this form to create a food journal during your carb testing. The most important part of any diet during the re-introduction phase is the mental/emotional state that a food can create. Make sure to take good notes of how you are feeling during the day so you can make any connects between these emotions and your food intake. |
Additional Resources
Here you will find additional resources to help further your knowledge on this module topic.

BLOG POST: The Importance of Soaking Grains, Nuts and Seeds by The Wellness Mama
Nuts and seeds can be a terrific nutrient-dense snack or addition to a meal, but like grains and legumes, they can also contain substances that interfere with the body’s ability to absorb nutrients. The simple process of soaking nuts improves their nutrition. Learn why you want to soak, and how to do it in this blog. |
Recommended Glucometer
Blood sugar testing with a glucometer is HIGHLY advised for this module. My favorite blood sugar meter is the One Touch Ultra, but it you think you might want to try the ketogenic diet later in the year (we will be reviewing the details of this diet), you may want to consider a meter from Keto Mojo instead (which can read both ketones AND blood sugar). Check them both out and see which one might work best for you! |
Workshop Re-Cap Video
The "cliff-note" version of the weeks workshop video will be posted 48 hours after the workshop. It is in no way intended to replace class attendance, but we all know that things come up and making it to 100% of the workshops may not be possible. In that case, please review the video to get caught up on the currently happenings in the program. If you still have questions, or would like more personalization on this module topic, please schedule a consultation HERE.
